I don’t have much to say on this post, but people say a picture is worth a thousand words.  I was reading an article on lions on wikipedia and I saw this beautiful picture of 7 lionesses. It has a very high resolution for good details. I decided to mess around with it in Gimp. I edited it and made 2 pictures with an HDR like effect on it.

Another crappy day. The weather was miserable. I wanted to go out and take some new pictures for the blog. Oh, well. I have pictures I took from last year.

Last year around lated spring and early summer, Lincoln had an unusual large amount of rain. There were some flooding because of it. Holmes Lake was filled with more water than I’ve ever seen it. Some benches and walking paths were flooded.

I touched up the pictures with Gimp2, I took them with my old Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S40 camera. My intention was to give them an HDR feel and look.

I was planning to go out and take some pictures today, but I overslept until late afternoon. It was a nice day and I only had time to go grocery shopping. I wanted to post pictures and I’ll be damned if I don’t! These are pictures I took around Park Middle School in the summer of 2008. I went there a long time ago. I wished I had made the most of it and enjoyed it more.

No time to reminisce, onto the pictures. I touched up the pictures with Gimp2, I took them with my old Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S40 camera. My intention was to give them an HDR feel and look.

Here’s 2 pictures I edited with Gimp2. I’ve been messing around with it for a week and it can do so many things. The best part is that it’s free! I’m practicing my skills so I can use it on my comic. I tried to give them an HDR effect.
